India is a country with long craft traditions and they are incredibly skilled with their hands. At Quote Copenhagen, we have made the most beautiful hand-quilted quilts, where many hours have been spent on the beautiful quilted patterns. The rugs are all made by hand from recycled silk sari, and carefully selected according to colors and patterns to fit into the cozy romantic decor both outside and inside. They are perfect for the garden or picnic trip, and can also be used on the sofa or as a cute detail at the end of the bed with pillows as the finishing touch. A sari is about 70 cm wide and 5-6 meters long, it is cut over in the middle and put together to a width of approx. 140 cm before it is quilted, which can for that reason occur variations in width. The rugs have black heavy cotton on the back, with visible quilt pattern.
